The elves got a little too drunk one day and started pouring bourbon everywhere in the kitchen but it needed something extra so they threw a few mystery chilis into the bowl and Bourbon Heat was born.

Chef Inspired Recipe

Bourbon Chicken:

Ingredients:
• 1/4 cup olive oil
• 1 1/2-2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs, trimmed
• 1/4 chopped green onion



Instructions:
1. Arrange the chicken thighs, trimmed of as much fat as possible, in a shallow dish with a cover. Pour the bourbon mixture over, taking care to ensure it fully surrounds the chicken. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours to marinate.
2. Heat your grill to medium-high heat (or prepare your charcoals). Toss the chicken thighs on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
3. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
4. Serve with white rice and garnish with green onion.
